C.R.E.W.

Put Your Handyman Skills to Use in Our Community!

Are you handy with power tools? Good with pruning shears or a shovel? Know your way around a car? C.R.E.W. (Christians: Ready, Equipped, and Willing) seeks to help folks in our community with small to medium sized jobs that they can’t do or don’t know how to do on their own.

Ways We Serve: This is an impromptu team of anyone willing and able to assist people local to Upper Sandusky in maintenance tasks that they otherwise would not be able to afford or accomplish by themselves. Tasks may include minor building/construction projects, moving things, landscaping, automotive work, etc.

How Jobs are Chosen: Requests will be accepted by recommendation of church members, community members contacting the church office or from Open Door Resources.  The request will be evaluated by CREW leaders to decide if there are volunteers with the skills to address the requested work.  The current CREW leader is Chris O'Donnell.

Who Can Serve: Volunteers will be asked to sign a form agreeing to basic Christian moral behavior and waiving liability of injury on the job site as well as covering their own medical expenses.

How to Get Involved: Individuals will be placed on a contact list available by the Church office and CREW leaders in order to organize responses in short-term or longer term time frames.
