Trinity Staff and Leadership

The staff and leadership here at Trinity is comprised of men and women who love, care and pray for every single person in the church. If you have questions for any of our staff, feel free to reach out and email them or call our church office to speak with them.

  • Rev. Jim Stauffer

          Senior Pastor

    Jim has been serving at Trinity since 2009.  He has been married to his wonderful wife, Karen, since 1996. They are parents to Laura, who attends Wittenberg University, and Andrew, who attends Upper Sandusky High School. Jim is a graduate of Wapakoneta High School, Bowling Green State University and Asbury Theological Seminary.

    Jim has been honored to have previously served congregations at Sharonville United Methodist, Marysville First United Methodist, and Mount Nebo United Methodist.  Jim began at Mount Nebo as a student pastor in 1995 and was ordained a Full Elder in the United Methodist church in 2000.

  • Alec Stansbery

          Director of Adult Discipleship

    Alec joined staff in 2018 as Trinity's Director of Adult Discipleship. He gives leadership to our congregation's Small Groups. His focus is to help others connect with Jesus and grow to become more like Him - in thought, word, and deed - through the power of the Holy Spirit. His passion is to help others step more deeply into the "with-God life" and become all that God intends for them to be.

    Alec graduated from The Ohio State University in 2014 with a BS in Psychology. While there, Alec was very involved with the student ministry, Cru, where he first experienced the power of a transformational community of Christ-followers. He then went on to Ashland Theological Seminary, where he graduated with his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

  • Shane Adams

          Youth Director

    Shane came on staff in 2018.  Married to his wife Brenda they have two boys, Ry, who attends Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and Cade, who is currently a student at Upper Sandusky High School.

  • Julie Adelsperger

          Associate Youth Director

    Julie has attended Trinity since 2016 and joined the staff in 2020. You can find Julie teaching Middle School Sunday School, in the office during the week, or running around with the students and volunteers on a Wednesday night.

  • Steve Sturgeon

          Pastoral Assistant  |  Upward Football Director

    Steve has attended Trinity since 1995 and has been on staff since 2011.  He is a retired high school math teacher with 5 children and 6 granddaughters.  Steve also serves as the chaplain for Hospice of Wyandot County.

  • Bryce Mast

          Director of Worship

    Bryce joined the staff at Trinity in 2017 alongside his beautiful wife Kalia! Together they share a joy for family, Jesus, and seeing people grow. They've been known to burst into spontaneous choral music or Disney songs.

    Bryce studied Christian Worship and Church Music at Indiana Wesleyan University, and is a lifelong learner.

          Assistant Director of Children's Ministries  |  STEPS Teacher

    Jenny came on staff in 2014.  She married Ken Kerr, Jr in 2002 and they have 4 children. They homeschool their daughter, Evelyn. Their three sons Wyatt, Maverick and Caden attend Elgin/Tri-Rivers.

         Director of Children's Ministries

    Jen came on staff in 2011.  She married Kurt Homburg in 1997. They have 2 children, Katie and Matthew. Katie is attending Taylor University and Matthew is at Upper Sandusky High School.

    Ken came on staff in 2019.  He married Jenny in 2002 and they have 4 children. They homeschool their daughter, Evelyn.  Their three sons Wyatt, Maverick, and Caden attend Elgin/Tri-Rivers.

  • Pamela Johnson

           Special Needs Ministry

    Pamela has attended Trinity since 2008 she joined staff in 2017 as the Special Needs Ministry Coordinator. She previously taught for the Wyandot County Board of DD as their head Preschool teacher. Pamela is married to her husband Jordan. They have three children and homeschool the older two children.
