Our Children's Ministry seeks to share the love of God with our kids - from birth to 5th grade! There are three major programs we serve in:

SonLight: Every Sunday morning, we share God’s love with dozens of children through large-group, small-group, and one-to-one connections. Volunteers help with check-in, leading our large-group time of teaching and worship, leading small groups, and taking care of our children in the nursery.

Kid's Club: Every Fall and Spring, we gather together our kids for a special evening of teaching, worship, and fun on Sunday evenings! The activities and flow of Kid's Club is similar to Sunday Morning SonLight.

Vacation Bible School: Every summer, we host Beulah on the Road!

Ways To Serve: The following outlines the various ways you can serve on Sunday mornings at SonLight, or on Sunday evenings at Kid's Club:

• Check-In - help parents check their children in and direct them to their classroom; also monitors for safety and reports any concerns/needs to staff

• New Family Registration - helps new families become familiar with Children’s Ministries and helps them register their child

• Classroom Leaders - Share God’s truths in creative and fun ways in an age-divided group setting. Awesome curriculum and teaching support is provided.

• Nursery Volunteer - Provide a loving, warm and nurturing environment for babies and toddlers.

• Music Leader - Enthusiastic adults or teens who love to lead children in worship songs.

• Host - A fun, relatable person who introduces the Storyteller and the day's story.

• Storyteller - Teaches God’s Word with a variety of fun methods that take into account how kids learn and what they enjoy.

• Sound/Computer - Provide assistance with sound and computer

• Special Needs Ministry Volunteer: Assist kids with emotional, physical and developmental needs during Sunday morning and Buddy Break.

• Creative Team - Help us “wow” the kids by creating visuals, backdrops, stage settings and simple scenery.

• Special Events Team - Provide assistance with various needs before, during and after special events such as movie nights, holiday services, etc.

• Prayer Partner - Pray every day for the children and volunteer
